Have you seen if he denies and turns away -

* The explanation of His statement, the Exalted: "Have you seen if he denies and turns away?" (13).
The Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: ("Have you seen if he denies") — Abū Jahl — the truth with which Muḥammad ﷺ was sent ("and turns away"), He says: and turns away from it and does not hold it to be true.
And in accordance with what we have said about this, the exegetes spoke.

Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda ("Have you seen if he denies and turns away"), that is to say: Abū Jahl.
