We improve the app continuously. Here's what changed per version.

  1. Version 1.1.2

    New

    Offline now works in English

    • Offline reading now follows your language: the English tafseer and the English Qur'an translation (Saheeh International) are included in the offline package. Previously offline always fell back to Dutch.
    • The offline package is per language, so you don't download the other language for nothing (~40 MB).
    • Dutch sentences that had been left behind in the English tafseer are now translated.

  2. Version 1.1.1

    English mode polish

    • In English, chapter names and the Qur'an translation (Saheeh International) now actually show in English.
    • The audio buttons no longer hide behind the navigation bar during playback.

    Major bilingual update

    • The app is now fully bilingual — Dutch and English. English is the new default.
    • English search across both the tafsir and the Qur'an.
    • Searching prophet names now works regardless of spelling: “Musa” also finds “Moses” and “Môesa”.

    • A feedback button to report mistakes, with a source disclaimer on every tafsir.

This app isn't on the Play Store (yet), so you install it directly. It is signed and safe. An iOS version will follow later.
