Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?

His saying: أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَآوَى ("Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter?") — He, exalted is His remembrance, says — while enumerating His favors upon His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ and reminding him of His benefactions toward him: Did your Lord not find you, O Muḥammad, an orphan and give you shelter? He says: and He made for you a refuge to which you could turn, and a dwelling in which you could reside.
