وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ

And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].

    And His saying: ( And as for the beggar, do not repel him ) — He says: and as for the one who asks you for something out of need, do not repel him, but feed him and provide for his need.

    وقوله: ( وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلا تَنْهَرْ ) يقول: وأما من سألك من ذي حاجة فلا تنهره، ولكن أطعمه واقض له حاجته .
