By the night when it covers

The statement concerning the explanation of His word, exalted is He, majestic is His majesty and hallowed are His names: وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى ("By the night when it covers") (92:1).
He, exalted is His mention, says, swearing by the night when it covers the day with its darkness, so that it makes its light vanish and its darkness comes on: وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى ("By the night when it") covers the day.
