Then indeed, upon Us is their account.

Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda: إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ ("Truly, unto Us is their return; then truly, upon Us rests their reckoning"). He says: truly, unto Allah is the return, and with Him rests the reckoning.
