His word: وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ ("And at the mountains, how they are set up").
He says: and at the mountains, how they are set up upright, so that they do not fall down and spread out over the earth; rather He made them, by His power, upright and firm, so that they do not leave their place and do not stir from their spot.
And Bishr related to us, he said: Yazīd related to us, he said: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda: وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ — you climb the hard rocky mountain for a whole day, and when you reach its summit, you come upon gushing springs and low-hanging fruits, which no hands have worked and which no one has cultivated — a favor from Allah, and a provision until the appointed term.
