Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -

His word: هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْجُنُودِ ("Has the report of the hosts reached you?"). Allah, exalted is His mention, says to His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: Has the report reached you, O Muḥammad, of the hosts who ranged themselves against Allah and His Messenger with their tormenting and their misdeeds? He says: that has reached you and you have come to know it. So endure patiently the torment that your people inflict upon you, on account of the misdeeds with which they afflict you, just as those against whom these hosts ranged themselves — My messengers — endured patiently; and do not let it divert you from conveying My message to them, just as it did not divert those who were sent to these [former peoples]. For the end of whoever among them does not hold you to be truthful and does not believe in you leads to ruin and destruction, just as was the fate of these hosts. Then He made clear, exalted is His praise, who those hosts were.
