Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure

The statement concerning the explanation of His saying, exalted is He: عَلَى الأَرَائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَ ("Upon couches gazing") (23).
He, exalted is His mention, means by His saying: عَلَى الأرَائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَ ("Upon couches gazing"): upon the couches within the curtained chambers, made of pearl and ruby, they gaze upon what Allah has bestowed upon them of honor, bounty, and joyous splendor in the gardens of Paradise.
Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr related to me, saying: Abū ʿĀṣim related to us, saying: ʿĪsā related to us; and al-Ḥārith related to me, saying: al-Ḥasan related to us, saying: Warqāʾ related to us — both on the authority of Ibn Abī Najīḥ, on the authority of Mujāhid, concerning His saying: عَلَى الأرَائِكِ ("Upon couches"), he said: of pearl and ruby.
He said: Abū Kurayb related to us, saying: Wakīʿ related to us, on the authority of Sufyān, on the authority of Ḥuṣayn, on the authority of Mujāhid, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās: الأرَائِكِ ("the couches") are the couches within the curtained chambers.
