And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun?

His saying: كِتَابٌ مَرْقُومٌ ("an inscribed record"). He, whose praise is exalted, says: indeed, the record of the righteous is in ʿIlliyyīn, كتاب مرقوم ("an inscribed record"): that is to say, a record inscribed with an exemption from Allah for him from the Fire (al-nār) on the Day of Resurrection, and with the attainment of Paradise (janna), as we have already mentioned previously on the authority of Kaʿb al-Aḥbār and al-Ḍaḥḥāk ibn Muzāḥim.
And as Bishr related to us, he said: Yazīd related to us, he said: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda: كِتَابٌ مَرْقُومٌ ("an inscribed record"): inscribed.
