And a full cup.

And His statement: "and a brimful cup (kaʾsan dihāqan)" says: and a filled cup, presented to its drinkers in succession, in abundance and fullness. Its origin comes from al-dahq, and that is pressing upon a person in succession and with force and intensity; and likewise the "kaʾs dihāq": its being presented in succession to its drinkers in abundance and fullness.
In accordance with what we have said about this, the interpreters of the tafsīr also spoke.

Yūnus related to me, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: Ibn Zayd said: Sulaymān ibn Bilāl informed me, on the authority of Jaʿfar ibn Muḥammad, on the authority of ʿAmr ibn Dīnār, who said: I heard Ibn ʿAbbās being asked about "and a brimful cup," he said: in succession. Yūnus said: Ibn Wahb said: that of which one part follows upon another.
ʿAlī related to me, saying: Abū Ṣāliḥ related to us, saying: Muʿāwiya related to me, on the authority of ʿAlī, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, concerning His statement: "and a brimful cup," he says: filled.
Yaʿqūb related to me, saying: Ibn ʿUlayya related to us, saying: Ḥumayd al-Ṭawīl related to us, on the authority of Thābit al-Bunānī, on the authority of Abū Rāfiʿ, on the authority of Abū Hurayra, concerning His statement: "and a brimful cup," he said: continuous and uninterrupted.
He said: Ibn ʿUlayya related to us, saying: Abū Rajāʾ related to us, on the authority of al-Ḥasan, concerning His statement: "and a brimful cup," he said: full.
Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr related to me, saying: Ibn Abī ʿAdī related to us, on the authority of Yūnus, on the authority of al-Ḥasan: "and a brimful cup," he said: the full one.
Ibn Bashshār related to us, saying: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān related to us, saying: Sufyān related to us, on the authority of Manṣūr, on the authority of Mujāhid: "and a brimful cup," he said: full.
Ibn al-Muthannā related to us, saying: Ibn Abī ʿAdī related to us, saying: Shuʿba related to us, on the authority of Manṣūr, on the authority of Mujāhid, the same.
Yaʿqūb related to me, saying: Ibn ʿUlayya related to us, on the authority of Saʿīd ibn Abī ʿArūba, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning His statement: "and a brimful cup," he said: filled to the brim, full.
Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda: "and a brimful cup," he said: the dihāq is the full, filled to the brim.
Ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlā related to us, saying: Ibn Thawr related to us, on the authority of Maʿmar, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning His statement: "and a brimful cup," he said: the dihāq is the filled.
Yūnus related to me, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: Ibn Zayd said, concerning His statement: "a brimful cup," he said: the dihāq is the filled.
And others said: the dihāq is the clear (pure).
