[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,

As Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning His word: كَلا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ وَتَذَرُونَ الآخِرَةَ ("Nay, but you love the fleeting world and you neglect the Hereafter"): most people preferred the fleeting world, except those to whom Allah was merciful and whom He protected.
