No! But you love the immediate

Muḥammad ibn Saʿd related to me, saying: my father related to me, saying: my uncle related to me, saying: my father related to me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, regarding ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ ("Then upon Us rests its exposition"); he says: its permitted (ḥalāl) and its forbidden (ḥarām) — that is its exposition.
Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, regarding ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ : the exposition of what is permitted in it, the abstaining from what is forbidden in it, and the disobedience and obedience pertaining to it.
And others said: no, rather its meaning is: then upon Us rests its clarification by means of your tongue.
