But as for the unjust, they will be, for Hell, firewood.'

(وَأَمَّا الْقَاسِطُونَ) "And as for the deviators (al-qāsiṭūn)". He says: those who deviate from Islam. (فَكَانُوا لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًا) "they are firewood for Hell (jahannam)", with which it is kindled.
