Tafseer of The Ascending Stairways · Al-Ma'aarij · 70:35
They will be in gardens, honored.

And His word: أُولَئِكَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ مُكْرَمُونَ ("It is they who will be honored in Gardens") — He, Mighty and Exalted, says: these, who perform these deeds, are honored in Gardens; Allah honors them with His honoring.
The statement concerning the interpretation of His word, the Exalted: فَمَالِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِعِينَ (36) ("So what is the matter with those who disbelieve, that they come hastening toward you, with their gaze fixed intently (36)")
He, exalted be His mention, says: what is the matter with those who disbelieve in Allah, that they come hastening toward you, O Muḥammad, with their gaze fixed intently (muhṭiʿīn)? We have already previously explained the meaning of al-ihṭāʿ, and what the people of interpretation have said about it, in a manner that makes it unnecessary to repeat that in this place — except that in this place we shall mention something of what we did not mention there.
