And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer:

( And those who guard their prayer ) — he says: and those who guard the appointed times of their prayer (ṣalāh), which Allah has prescribed for them, and its limits which He has imposed upon them; they guard it, and they neglect of it neither an appointed time nor a limit.
