Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor.

The discourse on the explanation of His statement, exalted is He: وَلا يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ ("And he did not urge the feeding of the needy") (34).
He, exalted is His mention, says, informing about this wretch into whose left hand his book was given: in the life of this world he used not to urge people to feed the people of poverty and need.
