فَٱنطَلَقُوا۟ وَهُمْ يَتَخَٰفَتُونَ

So they set out, while lowering their voices,

    So they set off, speaking to one another in hushed tones, he says: they made their way to their field while secretly whispering among themselves, that today no needy person should come in to you, he says: while secretly whispering to one another, they said to each other: let no needy person enter your garden to you today.

    As Bishr related to us, he said: Yazīd related to us, he said: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning His words: So they called out to one another in the morning: Set off early to your field, if you would harvest. So they set off, speaking to one another in hushed tones, he says: they whispered secretly.

    (فَانْطَلَقُوا وَهُمْ يَتَخَافَتُونَ ) يقول: فمضَوا إلى حرثهم وهم يتسارّون بينهم (أَنْ لا يَدْخُلَنَّهَا الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِسْكِينٌ )يقول: وهم يتسارّون يقول بعضهم لبعض: لا يدخلنّ جنتكم اليوم عليكم مسكين. كما حدثنا بشر، قال: ثنا يزيد، قال: ثنا سعيد، عن قتادة، قوله: (فَتَنَادَوْا مُصْبِحِينَ أَنِ اغْدُوا عَلَى حَرْثِكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَارِمِينَ فَانْطَلَقُوا وَهُمْ يَتَخَافَتُونَ ) يقول: يُسرون
