The statement concerning the interpretation of the word of the Exalted: إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ ("Indeed, those who fear their Lord in the unseen, for them is forgiveness and a great reward") (12).
The Exalted, praised be His remembrance, says: indeed, those who fear their Lord in the unseen — He says: while they have not seen Him — ( لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ — "for them is forgiveness"). He says: for them is pardon from Allāh for their sins ( وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ — "and a great reward"). He says: and an abundant reward from Allāh for them on account of their fear of Him in the unseen.
