Tafseer of Mutual Disillusion · At-Taghaabun · 64:9
The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.

The Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: And Allah is well aware of what you do (on the Day when He will gather you for the Day of Gathering) — the creatures, for the presentation (that is the Day of mutual loss) He says: the gathering is the day on which the people of Paradise surpass the people of the Fire (jahannam) at the expense of the latter. And in accordance with what we have said concerning this, the exegetes have spoken.

Mohammed ibn ʿAmr related to me, he said: Abū ʿĀṣim related to us, he said: ʿĪsā related to us; and al-Ḥārith related to me, he said: al-Ḥasan related to us, he said: Warqāʾ related to us — all on the authority of Ibn Abī Najīḥ, on the authority of Mujāhid, concerning Allah's words: (that is the Day of mutual loss) he said: it is the surpassing of the people of the Fire by the people of Paradise at their expense.
Bishr related to us, he said: Yazīd related to us, he said: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda: (on the Day when He will gather you for the Day of Gathering) that is the Day of Resurrection, and it is the Day of mutual loss: the day on which the people of Paradise surpass the people of the Fire at the expense of the latter.
ʿAlī related to me, he said: Abū Ṣāliḥ related to us, he said: Muʿāwiya related to me, on the authority of ʿAlī, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, concerning His words: (that is the Day of mutual loss) it is among the names of the Day of Resurrection; He made that day great and warned His servants of it.
And His words: (And whoever believes in Allah and acts righteously) — the Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: and whoever holds Allah to be truthful and acts in obedience to Him, and keeps to His command and prohibition (He will efface his evil deeds from him) he says: He will remove his sins from him (and He will admit him into gardens beneath which the rivers flow) he says: and He will admit him into orchards beneath whose trees the rivers flow.
And His words: (abiding therein, forever) he says: dwelling therein eternally, they do not die and they do not leave it.
And His words: (that is the tremendous triumph) he says: their eternal abode in the gardens which we have described is the tremendous deliverance.
