And His word: فَبِأَيِّ آلاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ("Then which of the favours of your Lord will you both deny?"). He, exalted is His mention, says: Which of the blessings of your Lord — O assembly of the two weighty ones (al-thaqalān, the jinn and mankind) — which He has bestowed upon you out of His justice towards you, in that He punishes none of you except a wrongdoer — [will you both then deny]? Footnotes:
(6) Perhaps from the pen of the copyist the word "tukadhdhibān" ("you both deny") has dropped out, with which the author customarily closes such an expression in what he has previously cited of the word of Allah, praised is He: فبأيّ آلاء ربكما تكذّبان ("Then which of the favours of your Lord will you both deny?")?
