Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses

And His words "Or has he not been informed of what is in the scrolls of Mūsā?" (53:36): The Exalted, whose remembrance is exalted, says: Or has this one, who has bound himself to bear the punishment of Allah in the Hereafter on behalf of another, not been informed of that which is in the scrolls (ṣuḥuf) of Mūsā ibn ʿImrān, peace be upon him?
