Near it is the Garden of Refuge -

His saying ʿindahā jannatu l-maʾwā ("near it is the Garden of the Abode") — the Exalted, whose praise is mentioned, says: by the Sidrat al-Muntahā is the garden that is the abode of the martyrs.
And in accordance with what we have said about this, the people of interpretation (ahl al-taʾwīl) spoke.
* Mention of those who said that:
Muḥammad ibn Saʿd related to me, saying: my father related to me, saying: my uncle related to me, saying: my father related to me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, concerning His saying ʿindahā jannatu l-maʾwā; he said: it is to the right of the Throne, and it is the abode of the martyrs.
Ibn Ḥumayd related to us, saying: Mihrān related to us, on the authority of Sufyān, on the authority of Dāwūd, on the authority of Abū l-ʿĀliya, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās ʿindahā jannatu l-maʾwā; he said: it is like His saying then for them are the Gardens of the Abode as a lodging, for what they used to do.
Ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlā related to us, saying: Ibn Thawr related to us, on the authority of Maʿmar, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning His saying ʿindahā jannatu l-maʾwā; he said: the abodes of the martyrs.
