[Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do."

And His statement: ( اصْلَوْها ) ("Enter it to burn"). He says: taste the heat of this Fire (al-nār) that you used to deny, and enter it; then endure its pain and its intensity, or do not endure it — it is the same for you, whether you endure it or do not endure it. ( إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ) ("You are only recompensed for what you used to do"). He says: you are only recompensed for your deeds, that is to say: you are only punished for your disobedience to your Lord in the worldly life and for your unbelief (kufr).
