To send down upon them stones of clay,

The explanation of the words of the Exalted: لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِنْ طِينٍ (33) ("to send down upon them stones of clay") (51:33)
( لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِنْ طِينٍ ) ("to send down upon them stones of clay"). He says: to rain down upon them from the sky stones of clay ( مُسَوَّمَةً ) ("marked"), that is: distinguished.
