Tafseer of The letter Qaaf · Qaaf · 50:7
And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind,

The explanation of the saying of the Exalted: وَالأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِيجٍ (7) (And the earth—We have spread it out and placed therein firm mountains, and We have caused to grow therein of every delightful kind) (50:7).
And His saying ( And the earth—We have spread it out ). He says: and the earth We have extended. ( and placed therein firm mountains ). He says: and We have made therein fixed mountains that stand firmly anchored in the earth. ( and We have caused to grow therein of every delightful kind ). The Exalted, whose praise is mentioned, says: and We have caused to grow in the earth of every kind of beautiful plant, and that is the delightful (al-bahīj).
And in accordance with what we have said concerning this, the people of interpretation (ahl al-taʾwīl) have spoken.

ʿAlī related to us, saying: Abū Ṣāliḥ related to us, saying: Muʿāwiya ibn Ṣāliḥ related to me, on the authority of ʿAlī, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, concerning His saying ( delightful ), he says: beautiful.
Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning His saying ( and placed therein firm mountains ): and the rawāsī are the mountains ( and We have caused to grow therein of every delightful kind ): that is, of every beautiful kind.
Yūnus related to me, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: I said to Ibn Zayd: ( the delightful ): is that what is beautiful in appearance? He said: yes.
