And His words رِزْقًا لِلْعِبَادِ ("as provision for the servants") — He says: with this water that We sent down from the sky, We caused these gardens to spring forth, and the grain and the date palms, as food for the servants: a portion of it as sustenance, and a portion of it as fruit and enjoyment.
And His words وَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَيْتًا ("and with it We brought a dead land to life") — the Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: and with this water that We sent down from the sky We brought to life a dead land, which was parched and stricken by drought, so that there was in it no crop and no plant.
And His words كَذَلِكَ الْخُرُوجُ ("thus shall be the resurrection") — the Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: just as with this water We caused this dead earth to sprout and brought it to life thereby, and brought forth from it its crops and its vegetation, so shall We bring you forth alive from your graves on the Day of Resurrection, after you had perished therein, by means of the water that is sent down upon it.
