His word: ( Enter Paradise (janna), you and your spouses, rejoicing ). He, exalted is His praise, says: Enter Paradise, you, O believers, and your spouses, envied for the honor of Allah, rejoicing over what your Lord has bestowed upon you today.
The exegetes (ahl al-taʾwīl) differed concerning the interpretation of His word: ( rejoicing / tuḥbarūna ). We have already mentioned what was said about it previously, and we have set forth the view we consider correct concerning it in a manner that exempts us from repeating it in this place, except that we mention some of the views of the exegetes that were not cited there.
