And he who believed said, "O my people, follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct.

The explanation of the saying of the Exalted: En hij die geloofde zei: O mijn volk, volg mij, dan zal ik jullie leiden naar de weg van de juiste leiding (40:38)
The Exalted, whose remembrance is exalted, says, while He gives tidings about the one who believed in Allāh from the family of Pharaoh — ( And he who believed said ) from the people of Pharaoh, to his people: ( O my people, follow me, then I shall guide you to the way of right guidance ) He says: if you follow me and accept from me what I say to you, then I shall show you the path of what is right, upon which you shall find rightly-guided direction when you take it and walk it — and that is the religion of Allāh with which He sent Mūsā.
