If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell].

And His words: وَلَوْلا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ ("And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would have been among those brought forward") mean: Had it not been that Allah favored me with His guidance and with the disposition toward faith (īmān) in the resurrection after death, I would, together with you, have been among those brought forward into the punishment (ʿadhāb) of Allah.
As Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda: لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ ("I would have been among those brought forward"), namely: into the punishment (ʿadhāb) of Allah.
Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn related to us, saying: Aḥmad related to us, saying: Asbāṭ related to us, on the authority of al-Suddī, concerning his words: لَكُنْتُ مِنَ المُحْضَرِينَ ("I would have been among those brought forward"), he said: among those who are punished.
