وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

    وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ("And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds") — He, exalted is His mention, says: and all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the two classes of creatures (al-thaqalān), the jinn and mankind, wholly and exclusively His, to the exclusion of everything else; for every favor that befalls His servants comes from Him. So praise is purely His, He has no partner, just as He has no partner in His favors to them; rather, these are all from Him and from with Him.

    ( وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ) يقول تعالى ذكره: والحمد لله رب الثقلين الجن والإنس، خالصا دون ما سواه،لأن كلّ نعمة لعباده فمنه، فالحمد له خالص لا شريك له، كما لا شريك له في نعمه عندهم، بل كلها من قبله، ومن عنده. (آخر تفسير سورة الصافات)
