تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ

    Qatāda used to say in that connection what Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda: طسم * تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ — he means: 'mubīn' (manifest) — and by Allah, His blessing, His right guidance, and His direction are perfectly manifest.

    وكان قَتادة فيما ذكر عنه يقول في ذلك ما حدثني بشر بن معاذ، قال: ثنا يزيد, قال: ثنا سعيد, عن قَتادة, قوله: ( طسم * تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ ) يعني مبين والله بركته ورشده وهداه.
