قَالَ فَأْتِ بِهِۦٓ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

[Pharaoh] said, "Then bring it, if you should be of the truthful."

    When Mūsā said that to him, Pharaoh spoke to him: then bring the clear proof of the reality of what you say, for we will then not imprison you even though you take another god besides me, إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ (if you are one of the truthful) — He said: if you are right in what you say and truthful in what you describe and convey.

    فلما قال موسى له ما قال من ذلك, قال له فرعون: فأت بالشيء المبين حقيقة ما تقول, فإنا لن نسجنك حينئذ إن اتخذت إلها غيري إن كنت من الصادقين: يقول: إن كنت محقا فيما تقول, وصادقا فيما تصف وتخبر.
