And the devils have not brought the revelation down.

His statement: وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ — Allah, Whose praise is exalted, says: "The devils have not descended with this Qurʾān upon Muḥammad, but rather it is the Trustworthy Spirit (al-Rūḥ al-Amīn) who descends with it upon him."
