They said, "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted."

Allah, the Exalted, says: The people of Lūṭ said: لَئِنْ لَمْ تَنْتَهِ يَا لُوطُ (If you do not desist, O Lūṭ) — from forbidding us to approach the males — لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُخْرَجِينَ (you will surely be among those driven out) from our midst and from our land.
