قَالَ كَلَّا ۖ فَٱذْهَبَا بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ ۖ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّسْتَمِعُونَ

[Allah] said, "No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening.

    He, exalted is His mention, says: (كَلَّا) that is to say: the people of Firʿawn shall never kill you. (فَاذْهَبَا بِآيَاتِنَا) He says: go then, you and your brother, with Our signs — that is to say: with Our evidentiary signs and Our proofs which We have given you against them. And His statement: (إِنَّا مَعَكُمْ مُسْتَمِعُونَ) — of the people of Firʿawn, to what they say to you and that with which they answer you.

    يقول تعالى ذكره: ( كَلا ) : أي لن يقتلك قوم فرعون.( فَاذْهَبَا بِآيَاتِنَا ) يقول: فاذهب أنت وأخوك بآياتنا, يعني بأعلامنا وحججنا التي أعطيناك عليهم. وقوله: ( إِنَّا مَعَكُمْ مُسْتَمِعُونَ ) من قوم فرعون ما يقولون لكم, ويجيبونكم به.
