قَالُوا أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا (They said: When we are dead and have become dust and bones), that is to say: When we are dead and our bodies have decayed and our bones have been stripped bare of flesh, will we أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ (truly be raised up?), that is to say: be raised from our graves as living beings, in the same state as we were before death? This is something that cannot possibly come to pass.
