And We admitted them into Our mercy. Indeed, they were of the righteous.

His statement وَأَدْخَلْنَاهُمْ فِي رَحْمَتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ — He, exalted is His mention, says: We brought Ismāʿīl, Idrīs, and Dhū l-Kifl into Our mercy. The pronominal suffixes "them" (al-hāʾ wa-l-mīm) refer to them. فِي رَحْمَتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ — He says: They are among those who were righteous, who obeyed Allah and did what He commanded them.
