And We saved him from the people who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a people of evil, so We drowned them, all together.

And His statement وَنَصَرْنَاهُ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا — He says: We aided Nūḥ over the people who charged Our proofs and Our signs with falsehood. We saved him from them and drowned them all. إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ — Allah, exalted is His remembrance, says: The people of Nūḥ who charged Our signs with falsehood were an evil people who performed evil deeds, disobeyed Allah, and defied His command.
