Tafseer of The Prophets · Al-Anbiyaa · 21:59

قَالُوا۟ مَن فَعَلَ هَٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَآ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

They said, "Who has done this to our gods? Indeed, he is of the wrongdoers."

    Allah, exalted is His praise, says: The people of Ibrāhīm said when they saw their gods broken to pieces, except the one around whose neck Ibrāhīm had tied the axe: Who has done this to our gods? Whoever has done this to our gods is surely among the wrongdoers! — that is to say: among those who have done to them what ought not to have been done to them.
