And this [Qur'an] is a blessed message which We have sent down. Then are you with it unacquainted?

Allah, exalted is His praise, says: And this Qurʾān which We have sent down to Muḥammad ﷺ is a reminder for whoever takes instruction from it, and an admonition for whoever lets himself be admonished by it. مُّبَارَكٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ — just as We sent down the Torah to Mūsā and Hārūn as a reminder for the God-fearing. أَفَأَنتُمْ لَهُ مُنكِرُونَ — Allah, exalted is His praise, says: Will you then, O people, deny this Book which We have sent down to Muḥammad, and say: it is أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلَامٍ بَلِ افْتَرَاهُ بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِرٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِآيَةٍ كَمَا أُرْسِلَ الْأَوَّلُونَ ? But that which We have given him therein is a reminder for the God-fearing — like that which We gave to Mūsā and Hārūn as a reminder for the God-fearing.
And in the same manner as we have explained this, the people of interpretation spoke.
* Mention of who said that:
Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning His statement وَهَٰذَا ذِكْرٌ مُّبَارَكٌ — up to His statement أَفَأَنتُمْ لَهُ مُنكِرُونَ : that is to say: this Qurʾān.
