Tafseer of Taa-Haa · Taa-Haa · 20:76

جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ

Gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of one who purifies himself.

    ﴿ وَمَنْ يَأْتِهِ مُؤْمِنًا ﴾ — as one who affirms the oneness of Allah, without ascribing partners to Him (shirk) — ﴿ قَدْ عَمِلَ الصَّالِحَاتِ ﴾ — that is to say: he has done what his Lord commanded him, and has refrained from what his Lord forbade him — ﴿ فَأُولَئِكَ لَهُمُ الدَّرَجَاتُ الْعُلَى ﴾ — that is to say: they are the ones for whom are the highest ranks of Paradise (janna).

    ( وَمَنْ يَأْتِهِ مُؤْمِنًا ) موحدا لا يُشرك به ( قَدْ عَمِلَ الصَّالِحَاتِ ) يقول: قد عمل ما أمره به ربه، وانتهى عما نهاه عنه ( فَأُولَئِكَ لَهُمُ الدَّرَجَاتُ الْعُلَى ) يقول: فأولئك الذين لهم درجات الجنة العلى.
