And We certainly showed Pharaoh Our signs - all of them - but he denied and refused.

Explanation of the words of Allah the Exalted: مِنْهَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ وَفِيهَا نُعِيدُكُمْ وَمِنْهَا نُخْرِجُكُمْ تَارَةً أُخْرَى (Verse 55)
(From it We created you, and into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you forth one more time.)
Allah the Exalted says: From the earth We created you, O people, and brought you into being as speaking bodies. وَفِيهَا نُعِيدُكُمْ — He says: and into the earth We shall return you after your death, so that you become dust, just as you were before We brought you into being as complete human beings. وَمِنْهَا نُخْرِجُكُمْ — He says: and from the earth We shall bring you forth as you were alive before your death, and We shall cause you to come into being from it just as We brought you into being the first time.
His saying تَارَةً أُخْرَى (another time) means: one more time.
As Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning the saying وَمِنْهَا نُخْرِجُكُمْ تَارَةً أُخْرَى : he said: another time.
Yūnus related to me, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: Ibn Zayd said concerning His saying تَارَةً أُخْرَى : another time — the other creation.
Imam al-Ṭabarī says: The explanation of the words is therefore: From the earth We brought you forth — while you were nothing — as a complete creation, and We shall thereafter, after your death, bring you forth from it one more time, just as We brought you forth from it the first time.
