He said, "Have you come to us to drive us out of our land with your magic, O Moses?

Explanation of the word of Allah the Exalted: وَلَقَدْ أَرَيْنَاهُ آيَاتِنَا كُلَّهَا فَكَذَّبَ وَأَبَى (Verse 56)
(And indeed, We showed him all Our signs, but he rejected them and refused.)
Allah the Exalted says: And indeed, We showed Pharaoh all Our signs — that is to say: Our proofs and Our arguments for the reality of that with which We had sent Our two messengers, Mūsā and Hārūn, to him — all of them. فَكَذَّبَ وَأَبَى — and he rejected it and refused to accept what Mūsā and Hārūn had brought him of the Truth from their Lord, out of arrogance and obstinate rebellion.
