Tafseer of Taa-Haa · Taa-Haa · 20:47

فَأْتِيَاهُ فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَلَا تُعَذِّبْهُمْ ۖ قَدْ جِئْنَٰكَ بِـَٔايَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۖ وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ

So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance.

    فَأْتِيَاهُ فَقُولا لَهُ إِنَّا رَسُولا رَبِّكَ (20:47)

    (Go, both of you, to him and say to him: We are the messengers of your Lord.)

    Al-Qāsim related to us, saying: al-Ḥusayn related to us, saying: Ḥajjāj related to me: قَالَ لا تَخَافَا إِنَّنِي مَعَكُمَا أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَى — that which is exchanged between the two of you and him; it has been revealed to you both, so that you may answer him back.
