And We gave him good in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous.

Allah, the Exalted, says: And to Ibrāhīm, on account of his obedience to Allah, his gratitude to Him for His favors, and his sincere devotion in worship to Him, We granted in this world a good reputation and a beautiful, lasting praise throughout the ages. وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ — Allah says: And in the Hereafter, on the Day of Resurrection, he is truly among those whose affair and state with Allah are in good order, whose rank and honor there are excellent.
The explanation we have given is also the view of the exegetes.
Those who said that:
Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr related to me, saying: Abū ʿĀṣim related to us, saying: ʿĪsā related to us; and al-Ḥārith related to me, saying: al-Ḥasan related to us, saying: Warqāʾ related to us — both on the authority of Ibn Abī Najīḥ, on the authority of Mujāhid concerning وَآتَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً : he said: A tongue of truthfulness (lisān ṣidq).
Al-Qāsim related to us, saying: al-Ḥusayn related to us, saying: Ḥajjāj related to me, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, on the authority of Mujāhid, something similar.
Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda concerning وَآتَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً : there is no community with a religion but that it acknowledges him and is well-disposed toward him.
