وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ ٱللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ

And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense."

    His statement وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ ("And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Judgment"): This means: the wrath of Allah rests upon you — on account of His banishing you from the heavens and His expelling you from them — until the Day of Recompense. That is the Day of Resurrection. As for the meaning of the curse (al-laʿna), we have already expounded it in other places in a manner that makes repeating it here unnecessary.

    وقوله ( وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ ) يقول: وإن غضب الله عليك بإخراجه إياك من السموات وطردك عنها إلى يوم المجازاة، وذلك يوم القيامة ، وقد بيَّنا معنى اللعنة في غير موضع بما أغنى عن إعادته هاهنا.
