My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.

He says: Lord, make me one who fulfills the obligatory duty that You have imposed upon me from the obligation You have prescribed concerning the prayer (ṣalāh). وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي — that is: and make also some of my descendants those who perform the prayer for You. رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ — that is: Lord, accept my work that I perform for You and my worship of You. This is in agreement with the report (ḥadīth) that has been transmitted from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, that he said: "Verily, the prayer is worship itself."
