Have you not seen that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth? If He wills, He can do away with you and produce a new creation.

Abū Jaʿfar said: the Almighty, exalted be His mention, says to His prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: Have you not perceived, O Muḥammad, with the eye of your heart, and known that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth — alone, without any helper and without any associate? إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ (If He wills, He removes you and brings a new creation) — He says: He Who alone, without any associate or partner, brought it about that this was made and created — if He should will to take you away and destroy you, then He takes you away and destroys you, and He brings another creation than you in your place, and He creates them anew.
