And wait, indeed, we are waiting."

Al-Qāsim related to us, saying: Al-Ḥusayn related to us, saying: Ḥajjāj related to us, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, concerning His word: وَانتَظِرُوا إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ ("and wait, indeed we are also waiting") — he said: He means: Await the promises of Satan which he has made to you, concerning what he makes attractive to you, إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ ("indeed we are also waiting").
